It's the 2010 version of Watching the Tigers.
My attempt to combine three activities that I find enjoyable, Detroit Tiger Baseball, Web Development, and Beer Drinking.
The main idea is to play around with the Twitter code and try to find Tiger Fans, and Haters, talking baseball. The site can also pull postings specific to users from different cities. Go ahead try it out.
The home page targets all users. The city pages were determined by the Tiger schedule, and target users from within a reasonable distance of that city.
This way, as the game is going on, we can easily see what the misguided fans in and around Minneapolis are saying about the game, and retaliate if necessary.
You know, but all in good fun.
It's a work in progress and will probably be improved as the season goes along. There's not much I can do about the spam right now, but it will get better as more and more folks hand over their location to the Twitter.
Enough of this, I'm going to go watch the Tigers.
Wow. First time the Yankees have been shutout twice in a series since a really long time ago.
